I had a really comfortable stay at Student's Hostel in Montevideo. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and they were able to accommodate my request to change beds. I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the hostel, and even though it was not full during my stay, I had a room all to myself for two nights. The mattresses were new and comfortable, and the big closet provided ample storage space. I also appreciated the good quality Wi-Fi, especially in the morning when there were fewer people using it. The location was convenient, with the beach and downtown area within walking distance. Despite arriving late one night, I still felt safe walking alone to the hostel. The breakfast offered a decent selection of coffee, bread, dulce de leche, cream cheese, and jam, which was what I expected from a hostel. I highly recommend this hostel for its comfortable and spacious accommodations, friendly staff, and convenient location.

We had a wonderful stay at Student'S Hostel. The rooms were spacious and had plenty of storage space. The rooftop was a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. we had a great experience.

Each bed has a shelf and plug, plenty of lockers in and outside the room. Spacious kitchen and dining area for socializing. Helpful staff, secure door. Hot showers and multiple bathrooms available.

This hostel offers modern facilities with comfortable dorms equipped with plugs, shelves, and large lockers. the friendly staff is always ready to assist you. the breakfast includes a variety of options like fruit, toast, cereal, and yogurt. you can rent bikes and do your laundry at affordable prices.
The lack of insulation can make the rooms noisy at times.

On the positive side, the hostel did have some redeeming qualities. One of the best aspects was that each bed had its own individual plug, which was incredibly convenient for charging electronic devices. Another great feature was the presence of air conditioning in the rooms, which made the hot summer nights much more bearable. Moreover, the location of the hostel was ideal, being close to the old city, restaurants, and the promenade. This made it easy to explore the city and enjoy the various attractions without much hassle.
During my Christmas stay, there were a few aspects of the hostel that I found disappointing. the noise level in our room was unbearable at times.

The dorm rooms in this hostel were clean and well-maintained. the beds were comfortable and the lockers provided ample storage space for our belongings. the common areas were spacious and had a nice atmosphere, making it easy to socialize with other guests. the location was also convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions.
The bathrooms in the hostel were not clean. There were cockroaches present, which was not only disgusting but also made us feel uncomfortable during our stay.
